Following the rain...

The rains should provide excellent wildlife viewing throughout the summer months. Every year, the wildebeest migration moves from the Maasai Mara to the Serengeti. As they move, they follow the rains that bring fresh new grasses. May and June are thought to be the most dramatic months in which to view the famous wildebeest migration. It is during these months that the wildebeest run in long tight lines following the rains. The lines, which can sometimes reach ten miles in length, are a spectacular sight for any visitor to see.
