Exciting new Arusha National Park walking safari

Walking safaris around Arusha National Park's Ngurdoto Crater will soon be offered by Duma Explorer. Ngurdoto Crater, is a three kilometer wide volcanic crater with scenery similar to that of Ngorongoro Crater. The lush forests on the crater rim offer opportunities to view forest birds such as turacos and trogons, as well as beautiful black and white colobus monkeys. Although both hikers and vehicles are prohibited from entering the crater, a trail now circles half of the crater, allowing for beautiful hikes through the forest.
