Migration returns to the Serengeti
The long files of wildebeest have returned to the Serengeti. Groups of wildebeest can now be seen in the Central Serengeti and in the northeastern part of the park. Over the next two months, the migration will move to the Ndutu area, located in the southern area of the park. January through March are perhaps the best months to view the migration as the wildebeest are often viewed in large herds. After the rainy season begins in late March, the migration often splits into several smaller groups.
