Tanzania in April

April is Tanzania's tourism off season. As the long rains usually run throughout the month, safari parks and Kilimanjaro are empty. While April may not be the best month for viewing wildlife, it is certainly the cheapest time to go on safari. Many lodges offer their rooms at more than 50% off their regular prices, making safaris much less expensive. Kilimanjaro rates remain the same, however, as park fees do not decrease for the low season.
