Microsoft Office in Swahili

Microsoft announced this week that it will launch a Kiswahili version of Office 2003. Given that the majority of Tanzanians do not speak English, the translation of Office is likely to boost computer usage across the country. A Swahili version of Open Office has already been created, but most computers in Tanzania continue to run Microsoft Office.
